Metrolink Matters SoCal residents can get the shot at multiple San Bernardino Line Metrolink stops as part of their regular commute
For the San Bernardino County residents who want to get vaccinated but just haven’t had the time due to a combination of work and a variety of other pressing responsibilities these busy past few months – Metrolink has created an opportunity to get vaccinated as part of any daily routine.
Metrolink has partnered with the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health to provide Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations at Metrolink stations in San Bernardino County.
The vaccination sites will operate daily at the Montclair, Upland and Fontana Metrolink stations from June 8 through Saturday, June 12 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with 200 doses of the Pfizer vaccine available at each site, each day. Vaccine recipients will then return to their same station between June 29 and July 3 to receive their second shots.
Those who miss the first window of vaccinations can receive their first shot during the second round of vaccination dates from 6/8 – 6/12.
Those who can’t make it to the same exact station to receive their second shot can simply visit another station during the June 29 – July 3 window to receive their follow-up dose.
The program will operate in at the Fontana, Chino, Rialto, San Bernardino Depot and San Bernardino – Downtown stations from June 15 through June 19, with vaccine recipients returning for their second shot between July 6 and July 10.
Walk-ups will be accepted upon availability, but those who would like to plan ahead for a certain time can make an appointment at www.myturn.ca.gov.
