REOPENING ON MONDAY! Globally inspired, with local-sourced ingredients, Trevor’s at the Tracks is a unique eatery offering a varied selection of delectable dishes located within the historic San Juan Capistrano train depot and adjacent to the quaint Los Rios downtown district. Its spacious patio is a favorite spot for tourists and locals alike who soak in the SoCal sun while enjoying creative cuisine, an extensive wine list and organic cocktail program.

Originally constructed back in 1894 as a frequented train depot, the site of Trevor’s at the Tracks has welcomed many visitors over the years to enjoy both travel and leisure. The architecture of the building offers one of the very first examples of Mission Revival Style and is said to be one of most strikingly beautiful train depots in Southern California. The building has been carefully preserved throughout the past century and continues to serve as a reminder of the town’s historic origins. As the early 1900s progressed, this destination that was once only known as the site of Mission San Juan Capistrano, saw its population begin to steadily grow. It eventually became incorporated as a town in Orange County in 1961. Fast forward a couple decades, and in 1985, Dennis Medeiros and Tom Bogdanski founded Sarducci’s at the Capistrano Depot.

For 30 years their restaurant offered an environment to the local community where they could gather together for a meal and conversation. Eventually Trevor Baird took over Sarducci’s and began running the restaurant under that same name.
In early 2016 the construction of “Trevor’s at the Tracks” began, after nine months of planning and studying the history of its site in an effort to preserve the building’s historical integrity. Trevor Baird and his family carefully constructed a front garden, Trackside Cafe, outdoor patio bar, and several unique event spaces to continue this tradition of making memories by the tracks. On February 21, 2017, Trevor’s at the Tracks officially opened its doors and it remains open today, as a place for locals and visitors to safely gather for tasty, sustainably sourced food and libations.

“From day one the attention to detail was of utmost importance and our namesake wines and beers, carefully curated and placed on our beverage list. The motto was always ‘Locally Acquired / Globally Inspired’ says owner and founder, Trevor Baird. “We’re as much of an all-scratch kitchen as we can be …we also use local ingredients as much as possible. We don’t do these things because we’re trying to be trendy. We do them because we feel they’re the right thing to do.”
When SoCal Explorer rewards members take the train to the Trevor’s at the Tracks and show their loyalty card, they will receive 10% off their purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages.
