Wellness Check: Stress Reduction Quiz

Many things are outside of your control. Accepting that you have no control over certain things can relieve stress. However, not accepting responsibility for the things you can control (especially in regard to your own health) can be just as detrimental.

Empower yourself and boost your productivity by identifying which actions you can and will take to control your stress level.

I will practice using positive self-talk at least once a day. (Heads Up: Negative self-talk said with sarcasm is still negative.)

3 or More: That’s terrific! Take a week or two to get used to these habits, then think of more healthy habits you can practice to manage stress.

1 or 2: Good! Work on these habits for a week, then take the quiz again. Maybe you will be able to add another “Yes.”

0: Don’t worry. Everyone works at their own pace. Work toward one of these goals or you can create your own goal. Consider stress management techniques that work for you and practice them as often as needed.
