Today, Metrolink and NASCAR rookie driving sensation Cole Custer encouraged race fans to use Metrolink special train service to travel to Fontana for the Auto Club 400 on Sunday. Metrolink will offer three special trains to make getting to the Auto Club Speedway easier and less stressful. Race fans can reduce congestion and emissions by taking the train for only $10 round trip with the $10 Weekend Day Pass that gives all-day travel for one low price.
“Metrolink service is not only convenient, it is easy on the wallet with the $10 Weekend Day Pass,” said Metrolink Board Vice-Chair and Mayor of Highland Larry McCallon. “You get round-trip travel on a comfortable train and you can enjoy the experience with other race fans.”
Metrolink will offer special trains to the Auto Club Speedway from Lancaster, Oceanside and Oxnard with selected stops across the region. Trains will arrive at a platform near the back straightaway of the race track. Passengers will then transfer to a free shuttle to the entrance gates.
The special train from Lancaster departs at 6:15 a.m. and makes selected stops before arriving at Auto Club Speedway at 9:40 a.m.

The departure from Oxnard is at 6:15 a.m., making selected stops and arriving at Auto Club Speedway at 9:20 a.m.
