Fall In Love with Taking Metrolink to ZOOMARS Petting Zoo

Metrolink offers transportation to some of Southern California’s most desirable tourist stops. Whether you are stepping off the train into the sand of a SoCal beach or the sights and sounds of downtown Los Angeles, there are plenty of amazing destinations just a train ride away. Here is why a day trip to ZOOMARS Petting Zoo aboard Metrolink trains is the perfect adventure for you and your family.

The Petting Zoo is conveniently located in San Juan Capistrano the birthplace of Orange County. By taking the Orange County or Inland Empire-Orange County lines to this historic destination, you can enjoy easy access to key locations such as Mission San Juan Capistrano. After snuggling with bunnies, guinea pigs and horses, take in the classic Spanish architecture and beautiful grounds that have stood since 1776.

We’ll let you in on a little secret. Our friends at Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) have a partnership with ZOOMARS. Show your Metrolink ticket to the ticketing agent to receive $2 off admission! For more information, please visit OCTA’s website.

Their daily hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m on weekends. The best way to get there is to take Metrolink Orange County or Inland Empire-Orange County Line to San Juan Capistrano Station. From there, turn left on Los Rios St and right on River St. It should only be a one to two-minute walk.

You can also plan your trip for a special day. ZOOMARS Petting Zoo is holding Woo At The Zoo on Valentine’s Day, February 14. For one day only, you can buy one admission ticket and get the second free.
