Luggage? Check. Airfare? Check. A ride to and from the airport? Not check. How often do you plan your vacation and neglect to figure out how you’re getting to the airport? Or how often do you put off finding a ride to the airport because you don’t want to make a generous friend or relative endure the traffic?
For National Vacation Planning Day on January 28, Metrolink wants to remind you of our easy and convenient transportation services to Southern California’s leading airports, including LAX, BUR, SNA, and ONT. Avoid the high fees of leaving your car in airport parking and the traffic of Southern California’s major roadways.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX):
Station to Airport
- Ride Metrolink to L.A. Union Station
- Follow signs through tunnel, up the escalator and walk to the Patsaouras Transit Plaza for Bus Bay 9
- Visit the FlyAway® bus and present a valid Metrolink Monthly Pass and a boarding pass to or from LAX for that day (electronic or print version accepted)
- Board LAX Flyaway (buses arrive every 30 minutes during peak hours)
- Ride the bus to LAX; the service makes stops at every terminal
- Airport to Station
Airport to Station
- Walk to the Lower/Arrivals Level and look for a green FlyAway sign
- Board LAX FlyAway (buses arrive every 30 minutes during peak hours)
- Exit at L.A. Union Station
- Show the FlyAway® bus operator your valid Metrolink Monthly Pass and a boarding pass to or from LAX for that day (electronic or print version accepted) Going to BUR:
- If you are traveling to Hollywood Burbank Airport (formerly known as Bob Hope Airport) from the North, take Metrolink to the Burbank Airport – North (AV Line) station.
John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA):
Station to Airport
- Ride Metrolink to the Tustin Metrolink Station (OC IEOC lines)
- Walk to iShuttle stop
- Present your valid Metrolink ticket or pass for FREE transfer to John Wayne Airport
Airport to Station
- Walk to iShuttle stop
- Present your valid Metrolink ticket or pass for FREE transfer to Tustin Metrolink Station
- Exit Tustin Metrolink Station
Ontario International Airport (ONT) – Travelers can take up to $35 off Lyft rides between the Ontario International Airport and Metrolink stations: Ontario-East, Montclair, Upland, and Rancho Cucamonga. Thanks to the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA), together with Metrolink, Omnitrans and Lyft, this program is available through November 2020, so make your summer travel plans now.

- Follow signs for door-to-door shuttle service at the first ground transportation island in front of the terminal
- Ride the shuttle to the Burbank Airport – North (AV Line) Metrolink Station
Burbank Airport – South (VC Line) Metrolink Station
Station to Airport
- Ride Metrolink (Ventura County Line) to Burbank Airport – South (VC Line) Metrolink Station
- Use an airport telephone to request a FREE shuttle bus pickup
- Ride shuttle to airport terminal
Airport to Station
- Exit the airport and follow signs to trains
- Use the elevated walkway to reach the Regional Intermodal Transportation Center (RITC) building
- Cross Empire Ave. to Metrolink platforms
Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station – Hollywood Burbank Airport Shuttle Service

- Call ahead to reserve a SuperShuttle to Hollywood Burbank Airport (1-800-224-7767)
- Ride Metrolink (Ventura or Antelope Valley lines) to Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station
- Walk to the street on the north-bound side of the track for shuttle pick-up
- Ride SuperShuttle to your terminal
Airport to Station
- Walk to shuttle island outside of airport terminal
- Locate a SuperShuttle attendant and request a shuttle to Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station
- Ride shuttle to Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station
