Metrolink Matters 
Few activities are a better catalyst for the holiday spirit than watching the shimmering lights of a Christmas tree come to life! Metrolink wants to help you get into the holiday spirit with convenient transportation to some of the most spectacular tree lighting ceremonies in Southern California.
On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Fontana City Hall Tree Lighting Ceremony will offer families a fun event to usher in the season. In addition, to a spectacular Christmas tree, guests will enjoy live entertainment, refreshments and visit from Santa Claus—that’s right! St. Nicholas himself will be in attendance.
The event will take place at Fontana City Hall, located at 8353 Sierra Ave, Fontana, CA 92335. Prolong the fun by allowing one of our Metrolink trains to take you there. From your nearest station, head to Fontana Metrolink Plaza on the San Bernardino Red Line. Fontana City Hall is just 0.5 miles from the Fontana Metrolink Plaza. That’s a quick 12 minute walk from the station or a 2 minute drive.
UPDATE: Due to the expected rain, the event will be taking place inside the Steelworkers’ Auditorium, located at 8437 Sierra Ave, Fontana.
