The morning commute got a little sweeter on Wednesday, September 4 thanks to the adorable faces of a baby donkey, calf, lamb and horse! The pop-up petting farm greeted Metrolink riders at Union Station, bringing a cheerful start to the morning and smiles on the faces of people young and old.
Aside from brightening people’s days, the annual petting farm also draws attention to the LA County Fair and Metrolink’s convenient service to the Fair on Saturdays and Sundays through September 22. Fair-goers can take advantage of Metrolink’s $10 Weekend Day Pass with a free shuttle from the train platform to the front gate. Metrolink customers also receive discounted single-day admission tickets to the Fair for $12 for adults and $6 for children when they purchase online at www.lacf.com.
Offering services to one of Los Angeles’ largest events is a tradition Metrolink is proud to uphold. Metrolink has been making special weekend stops to LA County Fair since 1993.
