Metrolink Matters The City of Rancho Cucamonga will begin a project to improve the parking lot located at the Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink Station.
The project will require the alternating closure of parts of the parking lot on Monday, August 19, Tuesday, August 20 and Saturday, August 24 through Thursday, August 29, resulting in fewer parking spaces.
The project will restore the existing asphalt at the parking lot by using a method called “slurry sealing.” This will provide a new surface on the parking lot that will alleviate the cracks and completely repave the parking lot. Additional work includes weed abatement, routing and crack sealing and restriping.
The entire parking lot will reopen on Friday, August 30.
