A temporary track change will affect morning riders who travel from Fullerton, Buena Park or Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs as we undergo a pilot-program to improve the rider experience and increase on-time performance from Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 21.
On these mornings, trains will use the opposite platform they normally do. This is to determine if this will help to alleviate train delays.
Trains will return to their regular platform on Monday, June 24, and an assessment of the service, along with customer feedback, will take place to determine how to proceed in the future.
The following trains will be affected:
- Orange County Line: 600, 601, 603, 605, 607, 682, 683, 685 and 687
- 91/Perris Valley Line: 700, 701, 703 and 705
- Amtrak Pacific Surfliner: 561, 562, 564, 565, 566, 569, 572, 763, 767, 768 and 774
If you have any questions, Metrolink staff will be at each platform on the mornings of Monday, June 17, Tuesday, June 18 and Monday, June 24.
