Built in 1930, the Hollywood Pantages Theatre entertains thousands of guests each night. With its original design as a Vaudeville house that was transformed into a grand movie theater, the Hollywood Pantages has been home to numerous movies and award shows, including the Oscars. After 1977, the Nederland Organization took over the historic building and reopened in the early 2000s. From shows like Disney’s THE LION KING and WICKED to the newest smash hit HAMILTON, the Hollywood Pantages remains the centerpiece for the arts in the greater Los Angeles area. You can leave your car at home and take Metrolink to L.A. Union Station and transfer for free to the Metro Red Line. The Hollywood Pantages is located right across from the Hollywood & Vine Station. Make sure to check return train times when planning your visit.
