Metrolink Matters 
Metrolink rings in the new lunar year with safe, affordable transportation to the 120th Annual Golden Dragon Parade and Festival in Downtown Los Angeles’ Chinatown on Saturday, Feb 9, 2019.
Metrolink is adding a special $10 round-trip train on the Orange County line to get riders to the event. Special train 661 will depart Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo to Los Angeles at 10:05 a.m. and special return train 666 will depart Los Angeles Union Station to Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo at 3:30 PM.
The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) will host a pre-celebration at the Irvine Metrolink Station from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. to kick-off the Lunar New Year event. The first 100 attendees will receive FREE Round-Trip tickets to Downtown LA. Plus, enjoy free refreshments and Lion Dance at the station.
The special train service is funded by OCTA and Metro.
