Hello, Dolly! is coming to the Hollywood Pantages from January 29 to February 17 and Metrolink wants to help you see it by giving you a chance to win a pair of tickets!
Tony Award®-winning Broadway legend Betty Buckley stars in HELLO, DOLLY! – the universally acclaimed smash that NPR calls “the best show of the year!” and the Los Angeles Times says “distills the mood-elevating properties of the American musical at its giddy best.” Winner of four Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, director Jerry Zaks’ “gorgeous” new production (Vogue) is “making people crazy happy!” (The Washington Post). Breaking box office records week after week and receiving unanimous raves on Broadway, this HELLO, DOLLY! pays tribute to the original work of legendary director/choreographer Gower Champion – hailed both then and now as one of the greatest stagings in musical theater history. Rolling Stone calls it “a must-see event. A musical comedy dream. If you’re lucky enough to score a ticket, you’ll be seeing something historic. Wow, wow, wow, indeed!”
We’re giving away two pairs of tickets for opening night on Tuesday, January 29 at 8 p.m.! For your chance to win, head to our Facebook or Twitter by 3 p.m. Friday, January 25, and follow the instructions to win two tickets for you and a friend.
Built in 1930, the Hollywood Pantages Theatre entertains thousands of guests each night. With its original design as a Vaudeville house that was transformed into a grand movie theater, the Hollywood Pantages has been home to numerous movies and award shows, including the Oscars. After 1977, the Nederland Organization took over the historic building and reopened in the early 2000s. From shows like Disney’s THE LION KING and WICKED to the newest smash hit HAMILTON, the Hollywood Pantages remains the centerpiece for the arts in the greater Los Angeles area.
