Cocoa Concert series returns tonight at LAUS with MôForró!
L.A. Union Station is hosting its second Cocoa Concert of the season this evening with MôForró! Rooted in the traditional style of forró, MôForró is a musical collective of multi-instrumentalists with a passion for Brazilian music and dance.
The free, family-friendly holiday concert will be set in a winter wonderland with a Holiday Light Display featuring thousands of glistening lights and dancing snowflakes surrounding a towering white Christmas tree, a Cocoa Bar with Elftenders, a Holiday Craft Zone for gingerbread house making, a Kid’s Zone with a Reindeer Toss and Snowball Slam and an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest with prizes.
In addition, the famed Confetti Project will make an appearance with an immersive pop-up studio offering guests a unique opportunity to celebrate the season with their own personal photo session as they are doused in confetti.
As a sweet treat, guests can enjoy free cotton candy from the Hollywood Candy Girls and Santa Selfies with the most popular guy in Tinseltown.
Metro Art Presents showcases an exciting array of arts and cultural programs at historic Union Station. All events are free and open to the public.
Stop by before you take Metrolink home for the weekend and get a little holiday cheer!
