From Monday, October 22 through Friday, October 26, we will work in collaboration with BNSF to evaluate rail operations in an attempt to alleviate train delays that occur between Corona and Riverside.
During that week, Metrolink trains in the afternoons and evenings returning to Riverside County will arrive at the track 2 platform at the Corona-West, Corona-North Main and Riverside-La Sierra stations. One westbound train, 91/Perris Valley Line train 707, will also be adjusted, arriving on track 1 platforms at the same stations. After the week, Metrolink trains will return to their previous track assignments on Monday, October 29, while an assessment of the service will take place to determine how to proceed in the future.
Any additional track changes will be communicated in the future at a yet to be determined date.
