Train Service Disruption for OC & IEOC Line trains Oct. 13-14 & 20-21, bus service to be provided for certain trains
In order to maintain the safest rail system possible, the North County Transit District will replace rail lines and ties in south Orange County as part of a larger safety enhancement project. This will limit train service for all trains on the Orange County and Inland Empire-Orange County lines between Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo and Oceanside the next two weekends, October 13-14 and 20-21.
Tracks will be closed and bus service will be provided for OC Line trains 660 ,661, 666 and 667 and IEOC Line trains 857 and 860 on Saturdays and Sundays for passengers between Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo and Oceanside.
There will be NO bus or train service between Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo and Oceanside for OC Line trains 662, 663, 664 and 665 and IEOC Line trains 858 and 859.
Regular train service will be used between Laguna Niguel/Mission Viego and Los Angeles on the OC Line and Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo and San Bernardino – Downtown on the IEOC Line.
Trains and buses should operate on schedule but delays could reach up to 40 minutes as buses travel between the stations and trains hold for buses.
