Metrolink Matters In order to maintain the safest rail system possible, Metrolink will replace rail ties on the Antelope Valley Line between the Newhall and Sylmar/San Fernando stations for the next six weekends.
Tracks will be closed and bus service will be provided for all trains for passengers between the Newhall and Sylmar/San Fernando Stations on Saturdays and Sundays.
Regular train service will be used between Lancaster and Newhall and Los Angeles and Sylmar/San Fernando.
Trains and buses should operate on schedule but delays could reach up to 30 minutes as buses travel between the stations and trains hold for buses.
Dates include:
- Sept. 29-30
- Oct. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28
- Nov. 3-4

Because of this work, there will be no Football Special Service Train available on the AV Line for the game that takes place on Oct. 28
