Metrolink Celebrates the LA County Fair with Petting Zoo at L.A. Union Station

Commuters at L.A. Union Station were surprised to see the most adorable baby farm animals during a pop up petting zoo put together by Metrolink and the Fairplex last week on Wednesday morning.

Piglets, kids (baby goats), lambs, chicks and calves provided a cuteness overload to the normally uneventful morning commute. Plus, a rope-trick-performing cowboy performed a variety of unique acts for passersby.

Don’t forget that Metrolink is offering a special stop and train service to the LA County Fair on Saturdays and Sundays for just $10, which runs through September 23.

Metrolink also provided free round-trip train service to 55 sixth grade students from Dorris Place Elementary School in Elysian Valley as part of a school program and community partnership.
