Beat the Heat! Use Metrolink to Escape to the Beach this Summer!

Summer in Southern California often comes with triple digit temperatures and the best  way to beat that is a trip to one of the region’s best beaches. Luckily, we’ve got you covered and can get you steps away from a relaxing day in the sand!

Get your $10 Weekend Day Pass for unlimited rides on Metrolink, which also lets you transfer to Metro Rail and OCTA buses at no additional cost to get to your favorite beach!

Take a ride on the world-famous Ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier or to Venice Beach by taking Metrolink to L.A. Union Station and transferring to the Expo Line.

Take the Orange County or Inland Empire-Orange County lines for direct service to the beaches of San Clemente or Oceanside – plus you can even bring you surfboard so you can ‘catch a wave’! From the San Clemente Metrolink Station you can hop on OCTA Route 1 and head north to Orange County’s best beaches like Capistrano Beach, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Bolsa Chica State Beach, Sunset Beach or Seal Beach.
