Metrolink Matters
On June 14, 1993, Metrolink began service on the Riverside Line, connecting Downtown Riverside to Los Angeles for the first time. When the line opened, station stops included Jurupa Valley/Pedley, Ontario – East and Industry. The Montebello/Commerce and Pomona – Downtown stations opened soon after.
To celebrate 25 years of service to Riverside County, the Riverside County Transportation Commission is collecting Metrolink Memories! This is an opportunity for riders to share their experiences while riding Metrolink. These can range from people you’ve met, time you’ve saved, family trips or even what you’ve been able to accomplish by taking the train as opposed to driving.
Those who participate by July 14 will have the chance to win free monthly passes and other giveaways. Visit the Riverside County Transportation Commission website to share your story!
