On Friday, Metrolink began our new weekend Dodgers Train special service to help riders along the Antelope Valley and San Bernardino lines get to L.A. to catch home Dodgers games.
To celebrate this new service, we held a social media contest where four lucky winners received four Round-Trip train tickets and four Dodgers game tickets for Friday nights game. Those winners, as well as those who participated, were invited to a special Rider Appreciation Event at L.A. Union Station before the game.
The event included a special meet and greet with Dodgers legends Ron Cey and Manny Mota, both of whom signed autographs and took pictures with fans.
Attendees were able to pick up Dodgers hats and shirts as well as meet Metrolink Board Members and Los Angeles County Supervisors Hilda Solis and Kathryn Barger and Los Angeles City Councilmember Paul Krekorian, who helped make this special service a reality.
The Dodgers Trains tickets are available on the Antelope Valley and San Bernardino lines for just $10 Round-Trip and help create another new affordable way to help get Dodgers fans to the game!
