While Flag Day, which commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777, isn’t until Thursday, Anaheim is hosting their 23rd Annual Flag Day Celebration on Sunday, June 10 at Pearson Park!
The “Musical Tribute to ‘Old Glory’” features a parade, performances by local and school groups, a special recognition of WWII veterans, the winner of the annual “What the American flag means to me” essay content, barbecue food and free cake and ice cream! This free, family-friendly event begins with the parade step off at 1 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m. for a fun-filled day of celebrating the Stars and Stripes!
Use our $10 Weekend Day Pass to the Fullerton Metrolink Station, from there transfer for free to OCTA Bus 47/A south to the Lincoln Avenue stop and you’re just a block away from the fun.
Don’t worry about bringing your American flag from home because they’ve got you covered with free flags to share your patriotic side!
